TaskBloc is a personal task management application developed by Provenance. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. TaskBloc exists to help you organize your days — nothing more.
What we collect
Information you provide
- Task names, notes, tags, due dates, and time estimates you enter into the app
- Project names and associated task data
- Google Calendar credentials, if you choose to connect
Information collected automatically
- Basic usage data to maintain app functionality
- Device type and operating system for compatibility purposes
Calendar integration
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, TaskBloc will read your calendar events to find available time slots, and create calendar events on your behalf based on your task list.
We store a secure authentication token to maintain the connection. We do not sell, share, or use your Google Calendar data for any purpose other than scheduling tasks at your direction. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the Settings menu.
How we store your data
Your task data is stored securely using Supabase, a third-party database provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

How long we keep it
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Completed tasks within a project are retained until you archive that project. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Children's privacy
TaskBloc is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.
